There are four modes on the electronic scale.
Manual mode (no letters displayed, default mode)
A mode: Intelligent manual brewing mode
B mode: Flow monitoring mode
C mode: Italian brewing mode
 
It needs to be utilised with a silicone thermal insulation anti-slip pad set up on the scale panel on a stationary horizontal surface to switch on demand.
